Dave Raffey, president of Raffey Development & Remodeling, Inc. (RDR), has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, with over 30 being in South Florida. After obtaining his Florida Contractor’s License in 1999, Dave established RDR in 2003, and has tailored the business to provide personalized and professional service. Dave pays incredible attention to detail, and it shows in his fine woodwork.
Founded upon principles of integrity, teamwork, and commitment, Dave personally oversees every job, and assures clients that their project will be completed in the up most resourceful, professional, and timely manner. Dave Raffey furthers his education frequently to stay atop of the latest happenings in the construction industry. He has completed a construction management course given by Turner School of Construction, and attended his most recent continuing education course in 2018. Dave also receives automated emails from The State of Florida informing him of changes in the industry and events occurring. Of course, all contractors licensed with the State of Florida receive these emails, but Dave reads them and takes note.
To assist Dave in the office, I, Susie Raffey, handle the administrative duties. With 30 years of experience in office administration, I provide essential bookkeeping knowledge and prepare all proposals and invoices. I also help with applying for permits, filing notices of commencement and other related duties.
Before earning my paralegal certification in 2009 from the University of Miami, I attended the Florida Gold Coast School of Real Estate in 2001 and sold Real Estate through 2007.
