Susie Raffey, Curator

Also known as “Susie Sells Seashells and other stuff” on Facebook, wendellarnold.com, carolyn-arnold.com and susiesellsseashells.com, my roles have been many throughout the years regarding the fate of my parent’s estate. Today, in the tenth month of 2019, I am shocked to say that they no longer have an estate, as both my mom and my dad died within the last eleven months. What’s left of their estate now belongs to me and my brothers.

The three of us agree that certain things should be sold and go to support Miss Kitty’s Long Branch Ranch Incorporated, the same as our parents did with much of their stuff after moving from Key Biscayne. I formed Miss Kitty’s Long Branch Ranch Incorporated (LBRI) in 2017 to help house homeless cats. More than merely providing food and shelter, we use the word house to mean care for them as well. LBRI does this by participating in the TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release) program in Palm Beach County and see to the animals’ continuing veterinary care the best we can.

If you knew our mom, then you know how she loved cats and would have helped every one of them if she could. If you knew our dad, then you know how he loved our mom and wanted her to have whatever her heart desired. As curator, I am here to say – in the name of remembering our parents, and in the spirit of loving cats, we humbly ask for your help. Whether it is a purchase from our online store, a donation or a share, we three appreciate it deeply. We also love that you care!
